London Guest Suites has been in business for more than 20 years and is proud to present this 1 Bedroom Apartment.

This is a charming and spacious apartment on the upper floor of a great period building.

Its location is great for those who want to be in the center of Knightsbridge and want an easy walk to Harrods , the shops, boutiques, museums and restaurants of South Kensington .

The apartment has a very spacious living room with dining table that can seat 6.

A grand feature fireplace with antique mirror and clock on the mantel piece will make you feel at home.

The bedroom has a King size bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. There is also an additional fold away bed.

The kitchen/breakfast room is built in a conservatory with lots of light and sunshine, the kitchen has washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cooker and is very well equipped.

The master bathroom is tiled, with bath and power shower, marble wash hand basin and W.C.

The separate cloakroom has 1/2 bath with marble wash hand basin and toilet.

There is a grand entrance hall with mirror/console table that welcomes you into this lovely apartment.

If cancellation is less than 10 weeks before arrival, then full amount due to owner, and only refunded if a re-sale is possible minus $250 admin fee. Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable travel insurance arranged at the time of booking.

LOSS OR DAMAGE Any loss, damage or staining in the apartments must be paid for, whether accidental or deliberate, and therefore, due care and attention is advised. Although end of tenancy cleaning is included in the price, unless otherwise stated, if the apartment is left in a more than usually dirty or messy condition, a local charge for extra cleaning will be levied.

LOST KEYS It is vital that clients DO NOT lose keys during occupancy or take the keys away with them at the end of their stay. If keys are not returned to us for whatever reason the cost of a new locking system, to maintain security, and the cost of extra key cutting will be charged to the clients credit card.

Deposit Policy

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT In order to confirm a reservation we require a 50% deposit, which is part of the total rent, which can be paid by credit card or check. The balance(total less the deposit) is due 10 weeks prior to arrival by credit card, check or money order. Payments by credit card will automatically be debited 10 weeks prior.

Exceptional location

This is a very large one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, washer and separate dryer (really works!) and a full bath and a half bath that is in an exceptional location...about 200 yards from the South Kensington Tube Station roughly at the intersection of Exhibition Road and Thurloe Street. Total square feet is probably 800 or so. So, by London standards, this truly is a VERY large apartment. There are two fabulous restaurants within steps...Daquise, the oldest Polish restaurant in London, and Perino's, a really good Italian spot. Pretty much every other restaurant in the immediate surroundings is way over priced or rubbish. The location gets you to anyplace in London because you have District, Circle and Piccadilly line trains, including direct service to Heathrow on the Piccadilly (about 45 minutes). One word of caution....the new owner is a hedge fund and has not done anything to refresh the finishes or furnishings, all of which are showing their age. They did have a designer visit the apartment one day we were there and she is planning a major re-do so that concern should be going away. Of course, the price will probably go way up so I'd book this place before that happens and enjoy its location and ambiance. One note, the train "noise" is not an issue. It blends into the city surroundings by the second day and is not an issue at all. The rental, check-in and weekly housekeeping provided by London Guest Suites and their local agent was perfect.

Excellent service from London Guest Suites - highly recommend. We like the flat a lot - it is not totally renovated, but very nice indeed - perfect for us.
